Hand made shoes in the USA are the best. The fit and workmanship of the mocs are excellent. The shoes are great for the office or for home.

I LIVE in these slippers!
I work from home, so it is not unusual for days and days to go by when I wear no shoes at all, just my slippers. When we went on a long vacation to Iceland and Scotland last year I took them with me and was glad I did. There were many evenings when I could kick off my shoes, put on my slippers and RELAX... just like home. This year we spent 3 weeks driving around the US West in our VW Camper. Of course I took my slippers along. Unfortunately, the second day out I put them in a "safe spot" and never saw them again!! I picture them sadly lying alongside the road somewhere in Idaho, Utah or Nevada. But now that I have my new slippers safely on my (previously cold) feet I feel that I am well and truly Home Again.

Comfortable & stylish
This is my fifth or sixth pair of unlined moccasins from Town View, at least 30 years of wear and comfort. Once I found these mocs, I have never worn any other. Sizes are right on and they wear extremely well.

Most comfortable moc I have ever worn
I bought this moc because it was available in wide sizes, and I hoped that it would be a better selection than the Minnetonka mocs that I have been buying, although it cost a lot more than the Minnetonka moc. I had been only moderately satisfied with the Minnetonka mocs, but they did not seem to be as comfortable as they should have been - there was a knot that terminated the sewed seams on the topside and it was not comfortable on my foot. I had complained to the factory about it and was told to take a hammer and flatten the knot. This only worked to a slight degree. Also, the soles were constructed of a layer of moose hide over a layer of foam, and the moose hide would wear out after only a couple of years of wearing them around the house (never outside). So, when the last pair of Minnetonkas wore out, I started looking for a replacement and came across Town View leather mocs with a triple layer of leather sole. I was extremely satisfied with the quality - no exposed sewn seams on the top, and a perfect fit. I would highly recommend this unlined 'Ole Maine classic to anyone that wants quality and comfort in a moc.
